I just had a chance to try out the new Wampler distortion pedal … the Sovereign. Amazing tone. I was super impressed. I have always enjoyed the Wampler distortion pedals and this new one really has a great sound to it. The Sovereign is a simple pedal but has a creamy tone that can turn from blues to thrash to everything in between. The pedal has a mid-control borrowed from other Wampler pedals with a full range of sweet. The pedal also has smooth high end and an incredibly tight bottom end. A very good simulation of a tube amp. I would definitely suggest you try this pedal as soon as you can.
